Mister Cookies - Absolutely Fabulous

I still miss Tabor boy. I know he is in the capable hands of his aunt now, and I know he is getting a lot of love, but I miss him. He misses me too. Anyway, cookies will keep me going for now. He he. Bake some and try them yourself. Yummmmm.
These cookies are incredible. You should make a batch today.
Mister's Cookies
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup butter (softened)
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups chocolate chips (or a smidge more)
Preheat oven to 350. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well. (You want even distribution of the salt and baking soda). In a seperate bowl, beat together butter, peanut butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla and mix well. Hand mix in the dry ingredients. (I like to use half white flour and half whole wheat flour so I add 2 tbsp of milk at this time as well since whole wheat flour usually yeilds a drier cookie). Add chocolate chips. Spoon onto cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes. Do not overbake. Let cookies stand for 2-5 minutes on the cookies sheet to allow time to set. They will fall apart if you don't. Move to cooling rack and eat a few
samples.

Comments:
I'd love to make the cookies but that's kind of tough in a hotel room in China with only a curling iron and blow dryer for heating. I've much rather have that precious Tabor boy of mine in my arms and be kissing his little cheeks like Aunt E. Oh well, just a few more days. Elissa

They're a hit! Thanks for the recipe. I guess I would have known how much milk to put in if I had actually read the directions!
