Here are some pictures from our weekend retreat. It was a fun and exhausting time, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Some of our friends were there with their kids and we met new friends too. I am so glad to be so blessed with opportunities. Thank you, Jesus.

All right, bloggers. I am back in action. Let's see how long it lasts. I'm really not a flaky person for the most part, but technology eludes me. Since it takes so long to figure out problems, I avoid it. Ugh.
Summertime. We skipped Spring altogether. It was 95 degrees yesterday and really dry. They say that is good. Humidity is what kills you. There was a scorpion in the bathroom last night so I had bad dreams. Yuck. I am very scared of scorpions. I know fear is no good unless it is for the Lord, but I don't deal well with stinging insects. It's not a spiritual deprivation issue, but you should pray for me anyway.
Holly finally got to go fishing this weekend. She caught 4 perch. One after another. And this made her bored and ready to move on. So we went canoeing and swimming. Our church hosted a family retreat. It was great fun, but Kemper got sick and had 103 when we got home. He also has a runny nose. Needless to say, he didn't really enjoy our trip. He is crying in most of his pics.
Finally, I am proud to announce that Jack has graduated from high school. He did very well and we enjoyed the ceremony. I think moving to Garza HS was a wonderful move for him. Now he is working at HEB and he will go to Austin Community College for a start of his college years.
That's all for now. Kemper wants his momma. Take care. More later.
