Enough Already. Here's Kemper

Kemper is a sweet soul. He was born with a calm spirit, completely at peace with the world. He is so easy to please and fun to be around. He sat with me the other day and brushed my hair for about 30 minutes. He just loves to be with me. Life is good with Kemper.

Holly and friends

I am late posting these pictures since they are from last month and it is almost time to get Christmas pictures done, but these are cute shots of Holly and her friends. She is sort of a shy girl around big groups or new friends, but she never forgets a friend and she loves to see old friends. My prayer is that she will have Godly friends who support her when she needs it and correct her when she is wrong. I also pray she is a good friend to others and learns to be forgiving and gentle as well as fun. Lord bless my children with friends who know and love You!

Wonder Pets
Holly decided on this year's costumes. She wanted to be a Wonder Pet. She loves that show way too much. So I set out to find a costume. I look at stores. I look online. There are no Wonder Pet costumes. This made me more motivated to make it happen. I bought a simple duck costume to fit Holly at the used kids clothing store. It was $8. When Holly saw it, she said that it couldn't be Ming Ming the duck because the bill was orange and MM's is pink. She also needed a cape. I am not super crafty, but I can paint so I got to work. The finished costume is nice, but neither kid wanted to cooperate for a photo session. You have to use your imagination.
Kemper's costume of Tuck the Turtle was a lot more work. I painted a bike helmet like a turtle shell and found him a green suit at a super cheap store called Savers. The suit cost $2. What a deal. I made two capes, one for each kid.
Travis went to work on a "Fly Boat." As it turns out, the entire neighborhood of kids looooooooved the Fly Boat. All the kids under 5 knew exactly what it was and wanted to ride in it or have one of their own. Holly and Kemper still want to sit in it and be pulled around. It's so fun. Wonder Pets was a great idea.
MIA-2months

Here's the good news: I have been living such a great life, I haven't had time to journal. How can 2 months go by and I spend not one second recording special moments? Well, that is not exactly the case. I have been scrapping a bit more. My monthly hostess club is doing well and we always finish a nice project or page for our scrapbooks. I have been to not 1, but 2, scrapbook conventions. If you aren't into this hobby, you would NEVER believe the masses of people who go to conventions to take classes and learn more. This hobby is mega popular and I keep thinking some major bucks are being made.
Anyway, I am glad that my hobby keeps me taking lots of pictures like these. I am an awful photographer, but I love pictures.
